TV Celebs Speak About How Their Mentors Changed Their Lives
We celebrate Teacher’s Day today to honour them for their special contributions towards the community. The day also marks the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education. Dr Radhakrishnan had once said, “Instead of celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my proud privilege if September 5 is observed as Teachers’ Day,” and that’s how we started to celebrate his birthday to honour all the teachers across the world. Celebrating this day at school is one of the finest memories from our school days and I bet everyone would agree to it. On this special day, TV celebrities have shared their thoughts on Teacher’s Day and pay their tribute to their mentors.
I have learned silence from the talkative, toleration from the intolerant and kindness from the unkind, I am thankful to those teachers who made me a hardworking person today.
A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning. I am thankful to my teachers who have helped me in exploring my talent and motivated me to lead a successful life.
It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge. I believe teachers are not the ones who let you choose a path but they are the ones who direct you in your path. I am thankful to all my teachers who have directed me to the right direction, making me a hard-working person.
A teacher understands the past, reveals the present, and creates the future. They always nourish the soul of a child for a lifetime. I am thankful to all my teachers to encourage me at every stage of my life. I believe, we are learners at every stage and we come across many teachings at times.
The mediocre teacher tells; the good teacher explains; the superior teacher demonstrates and the great teacher inspires. I am thankful to all my teachers who have inspired me to be a successful person. My mom has been one among my best teachers.
Teachers, I believe, are the most responsible and important members of society because their professional efforts affect the fate of the earth. No one is more cherished in this world than someone who lightens the burden of another. I am thankful to my teachers who have always motivated me to choose the right direction and made me so hardworking.
I am really thankful to my parents and my teachers. My parents brought such amazing teachers into my life who have educated me and always been encouraging. They have taught me to be disciplined, obedient and the art of well living.
While I was facing struggles, my teacher, the Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, inspired me with one of the best quotes by Sri Harivansh Rai Bachchan, which speaks great depths and has lingered on. Ever since then, I have never looked back. I have many teachers in many forms, it begins with my dad, who is my ultimate Guru and a go to person. My experiences have also taught me a lot and have changed me for the better. I want to thank all those wonderful and special teachers who have changed my life.
Firstly, I send my love and warmth to all my teachers, as they have not only been a wonderful teacher but also a great friend, philosopher and guide. The one exclusive sign of thorough knowledge is the power of teaching and all my success is because of them. They made me a hardworking person. There was nothing more inspirational than my teachers and my mom dreaming about being able to give flight to my dreams.
The best teachers in the world are who teach from their heart and not from the book. We are always a learner. I am thankful to all my teachers, who have helped me to be wise. They have always been motivating and encouraging.
Teachers are someone who is a sincere and wonderful person as well as an amazing educator. All of their hardwork and efforts are appreciated after we become a successful person. I am trying that my teachers’ efforts and parents’ hope do not go waste. I still am working hard to be successful.
